Dymonz Dezignz Journalz: A Year Long Art Journaling Workshop

On January 1, 2012, I will be kicking off a free year long workshop called Dymonz Dezignz Journalz. This is an art journaling (visual journaling) workshop which is open to all who care to join me for this journey.

An art journal is both a journal and a book of art. It can be created by altering a book to use, by purchasing a journal to use, or by making a journal yourself from scratch. We will be altering a book to use for this year long journey. It is designed to get you in the habit of journaling regularly, teach some great mixed media and art journaling techniques that can be used on many art projects other than just journalz, and to get you to take some time out for self. We so often are creating a gift for this person, a card for that person, a project for a swap... How often do we take time out to simply make something for ourselves? This Workshop will, by the end of 2012, have caused you to create the most beautiful keepsake of your artwork and crafting that you could ever imagine.

We're starting the process now -- there are some preliminary things that will need to be done prior to January 1st in order for everyone to start out on the same page -- figuratively and literally. I have posted a general supply list which tells you about each item we'll be using rather than simply listing what to go pick up -- you should know why you're getting the item(s) as well! There will also be instruction given on how to prepare the book you've chosen to alter in order to have it ready on day 1 (January 1st) so that we can get it started. And there is general information that is just good to know as we embark on this journey...

Treat yourself in 2012 starting right at the beginning of the year. Join us for Dymonz Dezignz Journalz and create something beautiful for yourself...

Much Love,
Dymonz...
